Evidence-based therapy

You don’t have to feel alone and overwhelmed.

Do you find yourself on an emotional roller coaster, trying to manage all your responsibilities? Worry and anxiety can be all-consuming, robbing you of sleep and making it near impossible to focus. Today you've decided to stop struggling alone. You're ready to feel less isolated and for your emotional load to feel less overwhelming. Navigating the twists and turns (and decisions) that come with working hard while maintaining healthy relationships is not easy and I’m here to help.

I specialize in supporting women and their families struggling with major life changes and everyday stress. I can meet you where you are on your journey and provide the support you need to feel more centered, worry less, and think more clearly as you make decisions.

You will learn new ways to approach this emotionally challenging situation, feel more confident making decisions, and know there is someone who can be there for you. I will teach you how to face anxiety and clearly communicate with others how best to support you.

Our Services

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is what many consider mainstream talk therapy. It focuses on how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact. CBT can be used in a short-term, goal-oriented treatment plan or as part of a broader treatment plan.

  • ERP is a type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that is specifically geared towards Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other anxiety-related behaviors. It includes exposing the individual to their triggers while preventing them from engaging in their usual compulsive or avoidance behaviors.

  • DBT focuses on emotional regulation and interpersonal skills. It is often used for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), self harming disorders, and substance abuse.

  • EMDR uses eye movements and other forms of stimulation to enable the brain to resolve past events that are causing current issues.

As opposed to talk therapy, EMDR focuses on the brain’s ability to adapt. This course of treatment uses bilateral stimulation to help our brains maintain positive memories while letting go of the negative.

I am trained through EMDR Consulting and often recommend EMDR for clients working to overcome traumatic events.
